Gone to the dogs was originally started in the eighties with Joy Venturi Rose and Ray Hardie performing a song written by Joy at her parents 40th Wedding Aniversary.  During the nineties.  Norman Mellows joined the line up on guitar and Alan Thornton sometimes joined us for gigs playing the drums.  We were later joined by Peter Royston who took over bass guitar from Norman.  During the 200Os Peter came and went and came back again.  All of us were gundog people hence the name evolved to Gone to the Dogs.  For the last few years Phil Gailiard has joined us and help extend our repotoir.  We play at a number of events including private parties and dinners.  Pubs and  country type events.  Below are links to a small sample of our music.  Just click and play.
